Searching for the Minichamps legend!
How can we explain what a legend means in today’s time? We simply can’t! A world that is able to exactly calculate the split second or hundredth of millimeter has still enough space for the incognisable, for real secrets: This also goes for myths. Minichamps itself has turned into a legend in the past 20 years and Blacky has not only accompanied this route as a photographer. Black is real model car fan, but with an essential constraint: “I only like beautiful models!”

The creative mind, whose home is in the fashion and miniature world, has captured the Minichamps fascination of the past 20 years in his own and distinctive way; compromised and then added with a new dimension. He himself thinks: “models release emotions. I have tried to capture these emotions with my camera on the one hand and on the other hand with my technique of collage like montage.” Blacky has basically painted with his camera. His top models do not have long legs, but seductive body shapes, clever details and a charisma that makes minds go crazy.

They are verbally jumping into the spectator’s eye and magnetically attract our attention. It is just like with a miniature, it is more than just the sum of successful details. Now we are coming closer to the definition of a legend, but don’t be afraid, we will not be able to understand it completely. The picture composition will have different effects onto the minds of the diverse collectors; their responses will be as individual as every true model car collection.
